I can't say I'm too happy with this drawing, but basically - it came out just like I imagined it. It wasn't meant to be pretty.
The ruins on the left are based on ruins of Warsaw after WW2, on the right - ruins of Berlin.
I don't think I have to explain what the message here is, do I?
I SWEAR I didn't remember about the girl in the red coat in "Schindler's List" movie, so please, do not interpret it like that - this red coat here stands for an entirely different thing - but try to figure it out for yourselves.
Unless it makes you happy to think about it in that context, then be my guest - I mean, in the end, it's up to you how you interpret this. I put my own story into this drawing, but you don't have to read it like I do
Aaaanyways, done on a4 format, on a printer paper, 300g/m2 (note - this kind of paper is NOT good for painting with water, even demineralized - see what the water did to it at the top?), with Rotring isographs 0.13 and 0.1 (second note - rotring 0.1 actually leaves a thicker line then 0.13, why is still a mystery)

Rysunek wyjątkowo piękny. Rysunek doskonale odwzorowuje postapokalipsę Warszawy. Nie będę ukrywać, nie jestem przyjacielem powstania. Nic nie osiągnęliśmy,cały Paryż Północy zrównany z ziemią , setki dzieł sztuki, dokumentów, archiwów, innych precjozów orac całe pokolenie kolumbów oraz setki tysiące ludzi wyrżnięte na nic. Zanim ktoś zacznie mnie nagabywać czy wyzywać od zdrajcy- NIE. Nie mam gdzieś ofiary jaką wiele ludzi dokonało podczas tego wydarzenia. W żaden sposób nie sposób odmówić mi bohaterstwa oraz poświęcenia wielu ludzi podczas tego wydarzenia. Ale ofiara nie jest tym samym co samobójstwem. Sam Anders wydał zresztą rozkaz przeciwko powstaniu, a setki lat temu sam Sun Tzu napisał w Sztuce wojny, że trzeba wiedzieć kiedy walczyć, a kiedy nie, oraz że są rozkazy i działanie, których nigdy się nie wykonuje. Ta dziewczynka i, jak mniemam jej ojciec chodzą po masowym cmentarzu. Nie wiedzą czy ich dom ocalał, co zostało z ich majątku, kto jeszcze z ich rodziny czy przyjaciół przeżył. Jak inaczej mogłoby być, gdybyśmy postąpili jak Krakusy.
